Tiger Woods finished the 2015 Masters tied for 17th, prompting the philosophical debate: When will he ever win another major?

Mark Steinberg: Tiger Woods' 'Wrist is Fine'

For Hank Haney, Woods' former golf instructor, the former world No. 1 was never a threat to win at Augusta National; however, Haney believes an improved Woods is destined to win his 15th career major.

"Overall, I thought he looked better," he told The New York Post. "He'll win more tournaments, and I think he'll win another major. That's my assessment of it."

"He looked better," Haney added. "He still struggled with the drive. I thought he'd figure out the short game. People said he had the yips. All I'm saying is: When something looks like a duck and it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. But I never thought it was a life sentence. He figured something out. He's using different wedges. He's using a different technique."

"He's totally changed both and the short game was pretty good. Probably not quite as good as everybody said it was, but it was pretty good."

With The Masters now behind him, the focus becomes the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay on June 18. Woods isn't expected to return to the golf course until the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club on June 1. With another six-week hiatus and only two weeks to prepare for the next major tournament, don't expect Woods to be in contention come June 21, either.

If Woods is to snap his majors drought, it will require consistent play leading up to the British Open or PGA Championship this summer.
