Four words: "The wrist is fine."

That's all Tiger Woods' agent Mark Steinberg told ESPN.com in an email when asked if there were any X-rays or doctor visits required for an injury sustained during the 2015 Masters. Woods hit a tree root on the ninth hole at Augusta National on Sunday.

Tiger Woods Lands Backhanded Comment After Jordan Spieth Ties Record

Clearly in pain, the former world No. 1 addressed the incident following his tied-for-17th finish.

"It definitely hurt," Woods said (via the Washington Post). "I didn't know there was a tree root there. I drove my hand or drove the club straight into it. It didn't move, but my body kept moving. I told the guys in there that there was a little joint that popped out, and I was able to somehow put it back in, which didn't feel very good, but at least it got back in and I could move my hand again."

"It's sore. I'm not going to be lifting any weights for a little bit."

Apparently, he won't be playing golf for a little bit, either.

Ranked 101st in the world, Woods won't be eligible for the WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship on Apr. 29. The event is only open to the top 64 golfers in the world. His annual Tiger Jam fundraiser is also the same weekend as The Wells Fargo Championship on May 14.

All signs point to a return at the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club, just two weeks before The U.S. Open on June 18.
