Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a match between Atlas and Atletico Mineiro. The group-stage clash scheduled for 9 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Deportes.
What They're Saying
Atlas center-back Walter Kannemann (via Esto): "Obviously we see it as a challenge, but we have to win. If we don't win, the remaining fixtures won't matter. Atlas have to come out and win, try to get the victory to keep having options and hopes of advancing. It won't be easy. It'll be difficult, but until someone tells us that we've been eliminated, we'll keep fighting."
"It's a bit sad," he added. "But I've had worse things happen to me than this and I've had the luck of achieving results. But we know it's going to be difficult. We have to do our job, win and see how the other results go. Until we no longer have a chance, we're going to continue fighting. Against Colo-Colo, the first yellow given to me was unjust, but that's football. Then, I made an error."
Tactical Preview
Player to Watch: Complicating matters for Atlas is the finishing ability of Lucas Pratto. In 19 appearances this year, the 26-year-old has 12 goals and an assist.
Atlas' Projected Lineup (4-4-2): Vilar; Castillo, Venegas, Perez, Arreola; Barragan, Medina, Ramirez, Silva; Gonzalez, Caballero
