Tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET, the Philadelphia Phillies (3-4) and New York Mets (4-3) play the middle match of their three-game series live from Citi Field in New York.

After nearly 20 months, Mets ace Matt Harvey mans the mound for the first time at Citi Field in what is sure to be a raucous house for the occasion. The Phillies will send David Buchanan to the hill and he is 0-1 with an 18.00 ERA and has failed to defeat New York in three tries.

Harvey's home start will mark his first at Citi Field since an Aug. 24, 2013 game against the Detroit Tigers. Following that outing, Harvey underwent Tommy John surgery to repair a torn UCL on Oct. 22, 2013, wiping out the entire 2014 campaign.

Harvey is excited to make his home debut after limiting the Washington Nationals to four hits and shutting them out through six innings while striking out nine in the nation's capital last week.

"Your home crowd is always behind you," said Harvey, according to MLB.com. "For me, they've been great. They've always been extremely supportive and very uplifting for me. We're all excited to be home, and I'm specifically excited to pitch."

Philadelphia has dropped two straight games and continues its first road trip of the season, which lasts seven games. New York, meanwhile, has won two consecutive contests and plays the second match of a 10-game homestand -- its first of the season.

The Mets dropped the Phillies 2-0 at their home-opener on Monday at Citi Field. Catcher Travis d'Arnaud and center fielder Juan Lagares each picked up RBIs in the win.

Harvey returns to Queens as the Mets host the Phillies live tonight from Citi Field.
