Two clubs in the Western Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the FC Dallas and Colorado Rapids. FC Dallas manager Oscar Pareja (via MLS): "I'm very proud of the players. We really put a great exhibition on for the fans that came. The fans got to see a team that is attacking minded all the time. We came in here [to Portland] and tried to play our game away from home. It was great, but as I said, the best team isn't the one that wins the points sometimes. We have to accept it."
Colorado Rapids midfielder Sam Cronin: "We've been winless in four games; last season makes no difference whatsoever. It's a new group of players, not an ideal way to start the season, but we're going to hold our heads high and keep working."
