Bruce Jenner has taken the sporting world by storm over the past few months after the former Olympic gold medalist announced that he would undergo a gender transition later this year and become a woman. Jenner has endured a tidal wave of media scrutiny, and so far, he has held up to it pretty well.

Jenner has obviously been a focal point in the sports world, but others have noticed also because of his reality stardom. His family (both the Jenners and Kardashians) have been supportive so far in the process, and news broke earlier this week that Bruce will have a sit-down with Diane Sawyer for a special, two hour 20/20 to discuss the whole process and reveal his new female persona.

Despite all of the changes that Jenner will be undergoing this year, he maintains that not everything about him will change. According to TMZ, he definitely does not plan on giving up his love of and passion for sports.

Jenner is obviously a superb athlete, even today (his gold medal was in the decathlon, which is generally regarded as the most physically grueling event). He incorporates multiple sports into his lifestyle, and he plans to continue doing so as a woman.

Bruce has also said that he plans to keep his membership at his country club, where he is regularly seen on the links.

Some things never change.
