Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Dallas Stars (39-31-10, 88 points) and Anaheim Ducks (50-23-7, 107 points) face-off for the third and final time this season live from the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Dallas has won two straight games and plays its final road match of the season while Anaheim had a four-game winning streak snapped last time out and competes in its last home contest of the regular season.

The Ducks lost out to the New York Rangers in the race to the Presidents' Trophy, but they can clinch the top seed in the Western Conference with a regulation or overtime win and already won the Pacific Division for the second straight campaign. The Stars, meanwhile, have officially been eliminated from postseason contention.

Anaheim has gotten the better of Dallas in the season series up to this point, notching a 2-1 overtime win on Halloween night and following it up with a 3-1 triumph on March 1.

The Stars enter play off of a 5-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Monday, but despite winning 12 of their last 17 games, their spring will come early with no postseason.

"There's not much to celebrate anymore," captain Jamie Benn told NHL.com after scoring two goals and adding an assist against San Jose. "We didn't do our job this year and that is pretty much it."

Benn is tied for first in the NHL with 80 points and leads Dallas with 48 assists while Tyler Seguin is tied for third in the league with 37 goals and ranks second on the Stars with 76 points.

The Ducks come into the game on the heels of a 4-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday that saw the team's four-game winning streak come to an end. Jiri Sekac picked up two points in the loss.

Despite their opponents coming in reeling, Anaheim isn't taking the high-scoring Stars lightly.

"They have the second highest scoring team in the league so, if we are talking about defensive hockey, it's going to be a great challenge for us," coach Bruce Boudreau said, according to NHL.com.

Ryan Getzlaf leads the Ducks with 68 points off of 24 markers and 44 helpers while Corey Perry is fifth in the NHL with 33 goals and ranks second on the team with 54 points.

In net, Anaheim probable starter is Frederik Andersen and he is 34-11-5 with a 2.37 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.

Dallas is set to counter with Kari Lehtonen in between the pipes and he is 34-17-10 on the campaign with a 2.94 GAA and a .903 save percentage.

The Stars and Ducks clash for the final time this season when the puck drops live tonight from the Honda Center in Anaheim.
