The Washington Wizards are going to the playoffs this season, and they are likely to end up with a first round matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Since their matchup is all but locked in (there are only five games left in the regular season), the team can afford to take some time to rest a few players and begin mentally preparing for the rigors of the playoffs if they choose.

Over the weekend, John Wall and Paul Pierce decided to attend an Easter function at the White House with other current and former NBA players (including Dikembe Mutombo), and they managed to get in on a few pickup games with the president himself, according to Complex.

President Obama apparently held his own during the games also, to hear John Wall tell it. He also went on to say that Obama did not shy away when the opportunity arose to talk a bit of trash to Paul Pierce after hitting a big shot.

Wall says that Obama hit a couple of game winners and that, after one of them, he turned to Pierce and simply said, "I'm clutch. I'm clutch"

Pierce sat out of Washington's practice on Monday because of a reported illness, but you have to wonder if that "illness" was really just a case of getting schooled by the president the day before.
