Caroline Wozniacki had a pretty good Monday.

The world's No. 5 tennis player, her popularity still soaring because of her Sports Illustrated swimsuit appearance, hit the ball over the net a bit with none other than President Barack Obama at the White House.

And that may have ranked as No. 2 on her list of cool happenings on the day.

The former fiancée of world No. 1 golfer Rory McIlroy, also attended the NCAA men's basketball championship game with former Wisconsin Badger and current NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans.

Wozniacki's White House appearance came as a guest of the Kelly and Michael live remote from the White House during the annual Easter Egg Roll. NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. The Wozniacki-Obama tennis match was the result of First Lady Michelle Obama's #GimmeFive campaign, USA TODAY Sports' For the Win reported.

Later Monday, Wozniacki sat next to Watt during Duke's 68-63 victory over Wisconsin in the championship game, another For the Win article pointed out.

Wozniacki was not in Badgers gear as her date was, but For the Win reported that she did cheer with him after Wisconsin went on a run.

Whether Wozniacki and Watt are a couple now will be subject to speculation. She had been linked previously to Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, and she may just have a lot of NFL friends.

Or maybe she just tends to attract the best athletes in whichever sport she dates.

It was less than a year ago that McIlroy announced his breakup with Wozniacki before a European Tour event. Later reports revealed that the Irish golfer broke up with the Dane over the phone.

Wozniacki threw herself into her work and fought her way back into the top 10 rankings. Although currently No. 5, she has yet to take the next step in challenging BFF Serena Williams for the No. 1 ranking that she appeared ready to do last year with finals losses at the U.S. Open and the WTA Finals.
