Lawrence Taylor Jr., Son Of Hall Of Fame Linebacker, Arrested On Felony Rape Charges

Lawrence Taylor Jr., the son of NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, is being held by Georgia police on rape charges.

According to TMZ, Cobb County police took Taylor Jr. into custody on July 7 on charges of statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and statutory aggravated sodomy. The website also reported the alleged victim is under the age of 16 and all of the charges are felonies.

TMZ said it has obtained a copy of the arrest report which states cops responded to a home in Powder Springs, Ga. on the evening of July 6 and arrived to find the victim claiming Taylor Jr. had forcibly performed oral sex on her.

The girl told police the six feet, one inch, 230-lb. Taylor Jr., then “force spread her legs then pulled her bathing suit to the side and gave her oral sex.”

TMZ adds another underage girl was at the scene and told police she had had sex with Taylor Jr. back in February 2012 approximately 5 to 6 times. The website reports he has been charged with statutory rape in that case.

Taylor Jr. was the “presenter” for his father when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall in 1999. A spokesperson for his father had no comment.

Lawrence Taylor was also charged with rape in 2010 after having sex with an underage prostitute.  He later pled guilty to a single one count of patronizing a prostitute and another of sexual misconduct. Taylor eventually was sentenced to six-year’s probation and ordered to register as a sex offender.
