Today at 1:05 p.m. ET, the Tampa Bay Rays (12-12 spring training) and New York Yankees (15-13) take the diamond for some exhibition action live from George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Fla.

Jordan Noberto (1-0, 4.82 ERA in spring training) takes the hill for Tampa Bay while Chase Whitley (0-0, 0.79 ERA) mans the mound for New York.

Noberto didn't pitch in the MLB in 2014 while Whitley went 4-3 in 24 games (12 starts) in his first taste of Major League action last season with a 5.23 ERA and 60 strikeouts.

A player to watch for the Yankees is Alex Rodriguez, who is returning from his Biogenesis suspension this season and is hitting .324 on the spring with three homers and four RBI.

For the Rays, James Loney is the highlighted player as he is expected to be a big part of the middle of Tampa Bay's lineup, but is hitting just .208 this spring with one homer and five RBI.

Both of these teams missed the postseason last year and will be looking to finish the spring strong in the last week before the start of the 2015 MLB campaign.
