Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT the Western conference's top team, the Golden State Warriors (60-13) will head to Los Angeles to face the red hot Clippers (49-25) at the Staples Center in a matchup that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Dubs fans can listen to the radio broadcast on KNBR 680, while Clippers fans may do likewise on KFWB 980.

Both teams are riding high into this high-profile Western battle. The Warriors have won nine straight games, even though head coach Steve Kerr is taking some opportunities to rest guys ahead of the playoffs. Los Angeles has won seven straight games and point guard Chris Paul is making a late push to interject himself into the MVP discussion.

Over Los Angeles' last seven games Paul is averaging 23 points and 11 assists, and the Clippers have won their last three games by an average of 21 points. Paul can make a big statement in his MVP candidacy tonight with a big showing against Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, who is the leading candidate.

Curry is averaging 24.4 points and 8.7 assists over Golden State's nine-game streak, and the last time the Warriors lost Curry didn't play.

Paul said that this game is more important to the Clippers than it is to the Warriors, and that their effort needs to reflect that desperation. "We've been playing with a good rhythm, going back home now," Paul told the team's official website. "We need to win worse than (the Warriors) do."

For the Warriors, the remaining games on their schedule are about avoiding complacency, and a satisfaction with what they've already accomplished.

"We still have a lot of work to do and we still have goals to accomplish," Klay Thompson said.
