The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of preparations to make this offseason. They are trying to work toward a Super Bowl title in 2015 after winning the NFC East in 2013 and winning 10 games last season. They have been one of the busiest teams this offseason, and they recently added another player to the roster.

Eagles Didn't Sign Murray To Weaken Dallas

The biggest free agent splash that the Eagles have made was signing star running back DeMarco Murray away from the division rival Dallas Cowboys. Apparently they liked the move so much, that they went back to the same well, signing another former Cowboy, wide receiver Miles Austin.

The Eagles do need some receiving help after letting last year's leading pass catcher (Jeremy Maclin) leave the team. Austin was excellent in Dallas before injury woes began to plague him, and when healthy, he offers the combination of size and speed that Chip Kelly covets from his wideouts.

Adrian Peterson To Dallas Not Dead Despite Vikings' Insistence

Austin played for Dallas and head coach Jason Garrett for several years, and the Eagles may be hoping that - in addition to providing production on the field - Austin can give them some insight into how Dallas operates.

Austin still remains close with many of the players on the team. In fact, last year, when Austin married his college sweetheart Stacy Sydlo, several Cowboys players were groomsmen, including Tony Romo and Jason Witten.

There is no word on how Sydlo feels about her husband joining the hated rival of his longtime team, but if she is anything like DeMarco Murray's fiancée, Heidi Mueller, then she is going to support Austin regardless of any old allegiances.
