We're about a month into Survivor's 30th season, World's Apart, and the tribes are expected to make their long awaited merge in next week's episode.

Professional Athletes Who Played On CBS Survivor

Nagarote, Escameca, and Masaya are about to be no more, and our remaining 12 contestants will soon what it's like to try and outwit, outlast, and outplay each other as individuals rather than teammates.

The biggest development from last week's installment was, of course, contestant Joaquin Souberbielle being blindsided at tribal council. His department leaves fan favorite and wheeler-dealer Rodney Lavoie, Jr. in a bind.

As demonstrated in the upcoming promos, Rodney is aware that former alliance members may have crossed him behind is back, and he confronts castaway Mike Holloway accordingly.

Perhaps sensing his imminent danger, Rodney is going to be looking to make moves for himself and him alone, taking control of the game in a way that is sure to be exciting to watch.

"People who did me wrong today are gonna pay for that s---, bro," Rodney says in an upcoming talking head to the camera, and adds that he feels "extremely disrespected by these blues so your numbers are dunzo."

Can Rodney follow through on his desire to turn this game upside down?
