Ray Rice is in a bit of a No Man's Land professionally. He was suspended for part of last season and released by the Baltimore Ravens, the only team that he had played for in his whole career. Once he was reinstated, he was unable to land a roster spot anywhere in the league despite some playoff contenders desperately needing running back help.

Now, Rice is hoping that he can find his way back into the league, but his prospects look pretty slim. There are promising backs available in the draft this year, and many teams have filled their needs in free agency. As it turns out, the market for free agent running backs that are approaching 30 is pretty slim, and that is before even mentioning Rice's domestic violence case.

However, he is still trying to move forward with his life, and that apparently includes moving on from a dark chapter of it, according to TMZ. Rice is reportedly selling his mansion in the city of Baltimore.

Rice bought the 4,736 square foot home back in 2012, which also happened to be the same year that he signed a $35 million contract with Baltimore.

The house sits on 1.06 acres and has five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Rice listed the home at $899,000, and he says that he has already found a buyer.

As for the running back's next step, he says that he and his wife Janay are moving to his hometown of New Rochelle, New York. The couple could end up moving again if Rice gets another shot with an NFL team, but that seems increasingly unlikely.
