As he prepares for his huge Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday night at WrestleMania 31, Daniel Bryan admits he's worried about his neck, but still feels he'll leave with the gold.

Bryan is set to battle Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, Luke Harper and R-Truth in a seven-man Ladder Match at WrestleMania 31 this Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Bryan sat down with Michael Cole and discussed his mentality going into the bout and being a little worried about his neck.

"I feel good," Bryan said. "There's an heir of unpredictability anytime you're involved in Ladder Matches and especially with so many people -- I mean there's gonna be seven of the hungriest Superstars fighting over the Intercontinental Championship. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little bit concerned. This whole time since I've come back, my neck has been a question mark. And every week I feel a little bit better about it, feel a little bit better about it. This is putting me in a situation that my neck hasn't been in since I've had the surgery, but I've come to a peace with it. Whatever happens happens and you just have to go out there and fight your heart out."

Bryan also talked about the obstacles he'll have to overcome and the viciousness some of his opponents are likely to show.

"It's the same thing that happens in every match," Bryan said. "Because you always have this obstacle in front of you -- and for me it's always usually a larger obstacle. And so you have to get rid of the fear, you have to get rid of this idea that your body is gonna be in pain. You have to accept that those things are gonna happen...We've got a lot of people in this match who aren't exactly the most hinged people on the planet, so you've gotta expect the unexpected. And you've gotta expect that it's gonna be crazy."

Bryan said winning the Intercontinental Championship is important to him because he's never held it, but he also wants to steal the show in order to hold up against some of the other great I.C. title matches in WrestleMania lore.

"Not only have I never won the Intercontinental Championship, it's the only title in the WWE that I haven't won," he said. "You know I've been United States Champion, I've been Tag Team Champion. I've been World Heavyweight Champion, I've been WWE Champion. I've never been Intercontinental Champion. And when you're growing up, the people I looked up to, the people who were my favorite wrestlers were the guys who were Intercontinental Champions who as Dolph Ziggler likes to stay, 'steal the show.' I'm talking about Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III, Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X, Bret Hart and 'Rowdy' Piper at WrestleMania VIII. I want that for this year's WrestleMania. I don't want people to be talking about Sting. I don't want them to be talking about Brock Lesnar. I don't want them talking about The Undertaker. i want them to be talking about the Intercontinental Championship and the Ladder Match that took place at WrestleMania 31."

Bryan, who won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship last year at WrestleMania 31, isn't short on confidence when asked for his prediction.

"My prediction and this better be every prediction of every person in that Ladder Match," he said. "I'm going to win."
