Add Davis Love III to the list of people still backing a triumphant return for Tiger Woods. Love appeared on BBC Radio and said he's been in touch with Woods more often recently. He fully expects to see the former world No. 1 work his way back on the course.

Arnold Palmer: 'Tiger Woods Has to Regain Confidence'

"He's expecting to make the [Ryder Cup] team," Love said (via Golf Channel). "He's working hard, I know that. I've talked to a few people around him who said that he's working very hard [and] is eager to get back."

"I suppose he has a plan for probably the Masters," he added. "I would think. We're hoping to see him back soon."

Paul McGinley: Rory McIlroy Needs Tiger Woods

"I wouldn't count him out just yet."

Woods skipped the 2015 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, an event he's won eight times. Love sent a text telling Woods that he missed seeing him at the event. With no Woods to battle and Rory McIlroy still struggling to find his grip, Matt Every successfully defended his title, finishing one stroke ahead of Henrik Stenson.

"I just found a way today [Sunday]," Stenson said (via PGA Tour). "Today, it was emotional. The first one you worked your whole life for. The second one, I worked like six months."

The next event scheduled on the PGA Tour is the Valero Texas Open from Mar. 26-29. Still two weeks short of The Masters, don't expect Woods to make an appearance in San Antonio.
