The Spurs are on a three-game winning streak ahead of this matchup, largely because of a resurgence from point guard Tony Parker, who is scoring nearly 20 points a game over the Spurs' last 10 tilts.

The Spurs' entire nucleus has picked up the pace of late too though, and center Tiago Splitter doesn't think Parker alone has kicked their play into overdrive.

"We've just played together for a long time," Splitter said. "We haven't made many changes in our team. Just good guys, good players that know each other and try to do their best."

Dallas, on the other hand, has dropped two straight games and continues to experience offensive lulls with midseason acquisition Rajon Rondo running the show. Since arriving in Dallas Rondo has averaged just 6.4 assists, down from the 10.8 he was putting up with the Celtics.

Rondo's backcourt mate Monta Ellis has been even more instrumental to Dallas' offense though, and when he went 11-of-53 during the Mavs' last two games they dropped both.

"Hey, he had a bad shooting night," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said after Ellis went 4-of-22 vs. the Suns on Sunday.

"That's the way it goes. But if we show up in the first half and play like we're capable, we're not talking about a bad shooting night. We're probably winning the game and doing what we're supposed to do. This is not a Monta Ellis problem. This is a Dallas Mavericks hard-play problem. We don't play hard all the time, that's the problem."
