Cena has been the No. 1 face in the WWE for over the last decade, but many fans have soured on him and would love to see a character change to the "Cenation" leader by having him work as a villain.

Hogan appeared on ESPN's Sports Nation to discuss the forthcoming Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather fight and he also touched on WrestleMania 31, which airs this Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Hogan said perhaps Cena turning heel for the first time since early in his career could work. Hogan believes the turn would work on television, but he also praised how good of a person Cena is behind the scenes.

The WWE has been reluctant to turn Cena due to the influence he has on kids in the PG era and since he is the No. 1 merchandise seller in the company. Cena also does a lot of work with Make-a-Wish as well.

Hogan infamously turned heel at WCW Bash of the Beach 1996 when he joined up with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to form the nWo in a move that revolutionized wrestling.

Cena is set to face Rusev for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 31 on Sunday and it is unlikely he'll turn heel anytime soon.

Hogan also offered a few predictions for WrestleMania 31, saying that he believes it won't be The Undertaker's last WrestleMania and that Roman Reigns will leave California as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The Undertaker is set to go face-to-face with Bray Wyatt at the biggest event of the year for the WWE while Reigns will take on reigning champion Brock Lesnar for the richest prize in the game in the main event.

Hogan is no stranger to WrestleMania, as he was the driving force behind the influential show throughout the years and he headlined the inaugural installment of the event in 1985.
