Laila Ali has been out of the limelight for nearly a decade since her retirement from professional boxing in 2007. However, the daughter of Muhammad Ali has found herself back in the sports pages, and probably not for a reason she’d like.

Laila Ali Talking Smack Against Rowdy Ronda Rousey

Ali told TMZ Sports earlier this month that “no woman can beat me,” and included undefeated UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey in that list.

UFC president Dana White, however, really agrees to disagree.

Ronda Rousey Says Laila Ali Has No Shot Against Her

“[Rousey is] actually the best fighter in the world,” White himself told TMZ. “Laila Ali would be in big trouble against Ronda Rousey. Laila if you’re serious, call me. If she wants it, she’ll get it.

“No disrespect to Laila, but she would be in the 14-second range,” White said, referring to the amount of time it took Rousey to tap-out UFC 184 opponent Cat Zingano last month.

White concluded his remarks by reminding Ali that she has his number, and should she ever want to make the fight happen, she knows who to reach out to.
