Bruce Jenner was one of the most popular athletes in the world when he won the decathlon in the 1976 Olympics. The gold medal brought him fame and fortune, and he remained one of America's favorite sports figures for years. Over the last decade, he has made a name for himself as a reality star, and over the past few months, his personal life has been all over the news because of his gender transition.

Kardashians Last To Know About Bruce Jenner's Sex Change Plans?

Jenner has apparently been thinking about becoming a woman for years, and it shed some new light on a past transgression of Jenner's. According to Page Six, most people thought that Jenner had stepped out on his wife Kris last October with her good friend, Ronda Kamihira.

However, it appears that the relationship between Jenner and Kamihira may not have been romantic after all. "It seems more like he confided in her," an insider said about the famed Olympian's much-talked-about transition to womanhood. "She would buy him feminine things he wanted. They had some kind of a special bond."

That relationship is apparently a main plot point on Keeping Up With The Kardashians this season, as the most recent episode featured Kim Kardashian confronting Jenner about it.

"I really don't care what you're doing, but I do think that because she is my mom's friend, my mom is owed a conversation," Kardashian said to Bruce. "No matter what the circumstances are, my mom sits - no joke - and cries about it at night, I swear to God, over how her friend can do this to her."

Jenner's family has indicated that they support his transition to womanhood, but he also admits that he has been feeling lonely lately and that he worries that the decision is creating a divide in his family.
