Could "The Beast" meet "The Brahma Bull" at the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania 32?

WWE Monday Night RAW Rumors and Preview

Amid rumors that current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will meet Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson next year at WrestleMania 32 from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, the WWE Superstar-turned-actor addressed the speculation.

The Rock spoke with Fox Sports and talked about possibly meeting Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 on April 3, 2016.

Latest Buzz And Rumors Surrounding WWE WrestleMania 31

"In Dallas? Possibly. There's a lot of things that are up in the air. We'll see," The Rock said. "I would love that rematch. Whatever it is I think that you want to create something that is going to be special, memorable and especially in Dallas at that stadium and you have a shot at breaking the attendance record."

Lesnar and The Rock met at SummerSlam 2002 and "The Beast" defeated "The People's Champion" to capture his first WWE Championship in a passing of the torch moment.

In recent years, both Superstars have appeared as part-time performers at WrestleMania, but they haven't crossed paths in the squared circle since their 2002 clash.

Lesnar pointed out in his promo that aired on last week's Monday Night RAW that he was the man to beat The Rock for the gold as a rookie. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the mentioning of the 2002 bout between the Superstars was scripted to tease a future match at WrestleMania 32.

Lesnar is slated to face The Rock's cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 this Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. and he could very well drop the belt to him.

There has been an ongoing contract dispute between Lesnar and the WWE over his next deal, and he stormed out on RAW last month after a disagreement with Vince McMahon, but has appeared since.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE plans to make a push backstage at RAW this week in Los Angeles to sign Lesnar to an extension, rather than waiting until next week when his deal runs out.

Both sides were said to be far apart on negotiations and refused to budge, but it looks like the WWE will make a serious effort to bridge the gap this week and it appears Lesnar could return as a part-time performer again rather than strike a comeback in UFC.

As for Sunday night, The Rock shared his thoughts on whether he believed Reigns was ready to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

"Ready to headline WrestleMania and ready to be the Champ are two different things," The Rock said. "I think that he's in a unique position. He's being pushed quickly, I was in that position before so I know what it's like, but at the same time you either sink or swim so you've got no choice but to be ready. Fans have expressed their displeasure in it and that is the best part about the WWE Universe is that they're so vocal and passionate about how they feel. I think he's going to go out with Brock, who I've known for a very long time, and they're going to have a hell of a match and that's what I expect."
