Aaron Hernandez, the ex-New England Patriots star tight end who stands accused of orchestrating the murder of Odin Lloyd, and pulling the trigger in his shooting death, will be back in court again today at 9:00 a.m. Follow Day 32 of the court proceedings free here.

When Hernandez's trial picks up this morning, it will mark the beginning of Week 8. Despite seven weeks of testimony from varying sources, there still has been little progress in providing a motive for Hernandez to shoot and kill a man described as his friend.

Last week the prosecution had some success in painting a picture of Hernandez as angry at Lloyd just days before the murder. Two nights prior to the killing Hernandez had been out at a club with Lloyd, where he allegedly got angry at him according to a witness named Kwami Nicholas. The defense was able to pick Nicholas apart during cross examination, but a second witness, a bar manager named Kasey Arma, described an "aggressive" Hernandez trying to dance with her. "He was irritated and very aggressive," Arma said.

Hernandez's fiancée Shayanna Jenkins hasn't been in court since March 6, and prosecutors are still holding out hope she will flip on Hernandez since she has been granted immunity.

Prison phone conversations Hernandez had have been released, and some of the details included him instructing Jenkins to give money to his cousin Tanya Singleton, who has been charged with perjury related to this case. Prosecutors believe it is hush money.

Prosecutor William McCauley said Hernandez "was directing her (Jenkins) to give money to Tanya Singleton at the time where he had just recently told her not to talk."
