Ronda Rousey is adopting a significantly different tone for her upcoming match against Beth Correia at UFC 190.
Whereas Rousey killed Cat Zingano with compliments before UFC 184, calling her the most dangerous and risky opponent she's ever known, Rousey has gone right for the jugular against Correia.
Speaking to reporters and the press conference announcing the fight, Rousey said that this one was going to be "personal."
"My dad had a great saying when someone needed to be shown what's up," Rousey said, via MMA Fighting. "He would say that this person needs to have a ‘come to Jesus' meeting. Bethe is going to have her own ‘come to Jesus' meeting in Brazil.
"I don't just want to defeat her. I want her to leave that arena embarrassed. And the best way to do it is to come here and to beat her in her own backyard."
In particular, Rousey said she's out to avenge the losses of her fellow 'Horsewomen,' Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler, who both lost to Correia previously.
