A Fulton County, Ga. judge has ruled in favor of former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart in ordering estranged wife and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams to vacate the mansion the relative newlyweds once shared.
According to TMZ, Porsha Stewart recently petitioned the court seeking to be able to keep using the couple’s Georgia home after she alleges her husband changed the locks and she had no other place to go. The two have been embroiled in increasingly bitter proceedings for several months now.
Stewart, who played for three NFL teams, including the Bears and Steelers, fought back by not just denying his soon-to-be ex-wife’s allegations but by also insisting she had been negligent in caring for his young son and frivolous in the way she squandered their finances.
On June 18, the judge sided with Kordell Stewart, temporarily granting him exclusive rights to the home. Stewart, however, was ordered to pay $5,000 a month in alimony for the next three months as well as turn over all his wife’s possessions and pay for moving costs and a storage unit for her to store her belongings.
The couple was married less than two years ago and about a year later Porsha Stewart joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s unknown if she will return to the show nest season.
