According to Metro, two of Real Madrid's biggest stars will be tempted to leave the most-storied club in all of football for one struggling to maintain its position in the top four of England.

Per the report, Manchester United will have the funds to sanction a £165 double bid for Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, far short of Ronaldo's £1 billion buyout clause. Adding fuel to the outlandish fire is Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Graham Hunter, who believes the Red Devils will face competition from neighbors Manchester City.

"Beyond August is a very, very big question," Hunter said (via Mirror). "That's because, one, I think there's nothing to report now in that neither is [Real Madrid manager Carlo] Ancelotti sacked, nor is Ronaldo sold, nor has Bale decided to leave. But there is a very clear opinion among the two Manchester clubs, and I mean City as well as United, that they think they have an opportunity to come and buy Ronaldo."

"Honestly, my opinion is we have to wait and see because I think he [Ronaldo] will be tempted. He will be asked by both Manchester clubs. I think that goes for Bale too."

Even Chris Coleman is shaking his head at the notion of departing the Santiago Bernabeu for Manchester.

The Wales boss believes Bale should stay at Real Madrid.

"He should stay where he is," Coleman said (via Daily Mail). "Chelsea are a huge club and have been successful as are Manchester United, but Real Madrid is Real Madrid. Gareth's good enough to win the big trophies, play on the big stage and play with the biggest club."

Real Madrid return to the pitch on Sunday against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
