Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a match between River Plate and Juan Aurich. The group-stage clash scheduled for 7 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Deportes.
What They're Saying
River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo (via El Comercio): "We played a good game [in the 1-1 draw with Juan Aurich]. We had more chances. In the first half, we dominated the ball completely. We didn't convert, though. It's something that's happening to us a lot. We don't finish the games. [Our position in the table] forces us to win everything. Regardless of the result, I still think we continue with confidence. We have to beat this team in Buenos Aires, travel to Mexico and then we'll have another game at home. We're on the right path."
Juan Aurich manager Roberto Mosquera (via El Comercio): "If you go to the [Estadio] Monumental with thoughts of a tie, you're in trouble. We aren't going to submit. We have respect for River Plate, but some people confuse that for submitting to them. If we had that thought, we wouldn't be traveling and we might as well just give them the points."
