Today at 12:15 p.m. ET on CBS the NCAA Tournament will get underway in earnest when the No. 3 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the No. 14 seed Northeastern Huskies in a matchup that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Irish fans can hear the game on 89 WLS while Northeastern fans may do likewise on 1330 WRCA.

The CAA champs will have their hands full with Notre Dame, particularly senior guard Jerian Grant, who paces the team with 16.8 points and 6.6 assists, both team-highs. Grant isn't their only weapon though-the Irish were 12th in the nation this year in points per game (78.5).

Beyond Grant, three other members of the team ended the season averaging 12 points per game, and the team's top three players in terms of minutes all shoot 48 percent or better from the field. Notre Dame has also been prolific from long range, connecting on 39 percent of their 3-pointers. Three players averaging more than 30 minutes a night are all over 40 percent from deep, and all attempt 3.4 or more treys per game.

Northeastern's attack is also spread out, although not as lethal over the course of the year as Notre Dame's. Scott Eatherton leads the way for the Huskies with 14.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, but he will need help from Northeastern's pair of shooters, David Walker and Quincy Ford, if they have designs on pulling off a shocking upset to kick the day off.
