If it's the NFL off-season and a player is on the wrong side of the law, it's not a bad bet to assume it is a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens' history of off-season trouble continued this week, when running back Bernard Pierce was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on early Wednesday morning.

According to TMZ Sports, police pulled over Pierce's brand new Ford Mustang in Baltimore County around the hours of 2 AM.

Pierce was asked to complete a field sobriety test, which he promptly failed. From there he was taken into custody, charged, and released on bail.

"We are aware of the situation and learning more about it. We take these matters seriously," a Baltimore Ravens PR representative told TMZ.

Ravens Safety Arrested Over Child Support Payments

Pierce's arrest is the Ravens second of 2015. In January safety Will Hall turned himself into New Jersey authorities after reneging on child support payments. And, of course, there was Ray Rice's 2014 arrest for domestic violence in Atlantic City that became the controversy that defined the league's entire season.

Pierce operated primarily as the Ravens' number two back in 2014, rushing for 366 yards on 93 carries, for two scores.
