The Philadelphia Phillies (38-41) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (35-42) will begin their weekend series with a Thursday night matchup. The game will air on PRIM and will stream live on MLB.com.

Los Angeles seems to have turned their disappointing start around with a season-high five-game winning streak. One of the biggest reasons has been the emergence of rookie sensation Yasiel Puig.

Puig added to his already impressive season and has led all major league hitters with a .435 average in the month of June. Since being called up earlier this month, Puig has hit seven home runs and fourteen RBIs, while recording an impressive .467 OBP and .729 slugging percentage.

The Dodgers are also 5-0 when Thursday's starter Zack Greinke (4-2) is on the mound at home. Greinke allowed just one run in an eight-inning, 6-1 winning performance against San Diego on Saturday.

"When he's spot on with command, Zack is a fun pitcher to watch," manager Don Mattingly said.

Greinke has a 3-0 record during starts at Dodger Stadium this season. Somehow, Greinke and the Dodgers have managed only 10 total runs of support during his five home starts.

Los Angeles will also get an offense boost as Matt Kemp is expected to return to the lineup. Mattingly told ESPN that Kemp will likely in every game of the series after seeing time as a defensive replacement during the ninth inning of Wednesday's win over the Giants.

"We're going to keep an eye on him and see how he's doing body-wise," Mattingly told the Dodgers' official website.

The Phillies will answer with Jonathan Pettibone (3-3) who is coming off a six-inning no decision after allowing just one run. The right-hander, who grew up in the Orange County area, is 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA in his last four road starts.
