Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Buffalo Sabres (19-43-7, 45 points) and Boston Bruins (36-23-10, 82 points) take the ice for the fourth and final meeting against each other this season in St. Patrick's Day action live from the TD Garden in Boston.

Boston has won five of its last six games while Buffalo has lost seven consecutive matches entering play.

The Bruins enter play in the second and final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference with a five-point lead over the Ottawa Senators while the Sabres have the least amount of points and wins in the NHL.

Boston has taken all three previous meetings from Buffalo this season and the last two matches went to overtime, including their latest 4-3 triumph on Dec. 21.

The Bruins are coming off of a 2-0 loss to the Washington Capitals on Sunday that snapped their five-game winning streak.

Patrice Bergeron paces Boston this season with 48 points off of 19 goals and 29 assists while Brad Marchand leads the Bruins with 22 tallies and has added 16 helpers for 38 points.

The Sabres are also coming in off of a loss to the Capitals, who topped them 4-3 in a shootout on Monday.

Tyler Ennis leads Buffalo with 38 points off of 18 goals and 20 assists while his linemate Matt Moulson has found the twine 10 times and added 24 helpers to rank second on the Sabres with 34 points.

In net, Buffalo is set to turn to Matt Hackett and he is 0-2-0 and has stopped 52 of 60 shots this season.

Boston is set to counter with Niklas Svedberg and he is 7-5-0 through 15 games this season with a 2.43 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.

The Sabres and Bruins face-off for the final time this season when the puck drops live from the TD Garden in Boston.
