It seems that all of those cynics that are always claiming that you cannot trust anyone have another claim to being right following the arrest of a high school football coach in Michigan. The coach had previously been in trouble for some questionable treatment of his players, but the new allegations certainly take the proverbial cake.

According to People, Louis Michael Rau, a Beal City, Michigan football coach, was arrested on Friday for sending sexually explicit images and materials to at least five of his players, all of whom were minors, and the youngest of whom was only 13 years of age:

"Louis Michael Rau, 46, faces 12 criminal charges, including seven counts of distributing sexually explicit, visual or verbal matter to a minor; four counts of selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor; and one count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes."

All five of the victims claim that Rau sent them nude photos, and two of the victims are claiming that Rau also sent them sex toys. One of the boys was only in eighth grade when he received "a vagina with a tube" from the coach, according to court papers.

Rau has been previously suspended after he slapped a player in 2006 and a parent wrote a letter of complaint to the school district.

"The incident was witnessed many of the varsity players," the letter reads. "When I asked [the victim] about the incident myself, he said that, 'Yes. Mr. Rau b---- slapped me.'"

The letter also raised concerns about what the writer referred to as Rau's "inappropriate behavior" with the boys on the team.

"I realize that rumors happen, but when I hear my boys and many others talking with each other about what is going on in the weight room and practice it raises a red flag," it read.

Rau's first court appearance is on Thursday.
