Mississippi State's off-season of discontent continues.

Dan Mullen's Bulldogs finished 2014 with the best record in team history, winning 10 games and earning a spot in the Orange Bowl. However, everything that's followed has been a worrisome situation.

Dak Prescott Injured In Spring Break Brawl

First starting quarterback Dak Prescott -- a frontrunner for next year's Heisman Trophy -- was "jumped" while attending a Wocka Flocka Flame concert at Panama City Beach's spring break. Prescott was beaten up badly and received cuts and abrasions to his chest, back, and face, and it was all humiliatingly caught on camera.

Now comes word that the team's wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson has been arrested on drug charges. Wilson and four others were taken into police custody and charged with possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Mississippi's Clarion Ledger.

A school spokesperson told the Ledger that they "are aware of the matter" and that they are "getting more details and will handle it appropriately."

Wilson was Prescott's favorite target in 2014, wracking up 680 yards on 47 receptions, including nine scores. Losing him for any extended period of time will be a big blow to the Bulldogs' college playoff aspirations.
