Reports indicate that Johnny Manziel has left the rehabilitation facility that he entered last month.
Manziel's Former Teammate Supports Him During Rehab Stint
Manziel had a rookie season for the Cleveland Browns that can only be described as abysmal. He started two games and was ineffective in both of them, and his off-field behavior (getting in fights, missing mandatory practices due to hangovers) provided a constant distraction for the team.
Manziel told reporter's at the year's end that he intended to take his sophomore pro season 'more seriously,' and voluntarily entering that rehab facility was seen as the first step in that direction.
News of Manziel's exit from rehab first circulated around the mainstream media thanks to a tweet from ESPN reporter Sarah Spain.
A source tells me Johnny Manziel left rehab this afternoon. Spent just over six weeks in the facility.

However, even before Spain broke that news, many fans on social media already had an indication that Manziel had left rehab, thanks to a post from his girlfriend Colleen Crowley that showed two empty plane seats and the tongue-in-cheek caption "Chipotbae," a portmanteau of the fast food chain and the slang word for your significant other.
Crowley deleted the post not soon after posting it, further stoking the flames of speculation.
Where exactly Manziel is headed remains to be determined. However, ESPN's Spain was quick to note that leaving rehab is not the same thing as being permanently discharged.
Which is why my source said "left." Not discharged. RT @jcleveland96: @SarahSpain That's not the same as being discharged — Sarah Spain (@SarahSpain) March 14, 2015
As I reported, source tells me Manziel left facility. To clarify: Was on a trip, returned to the States today.
