Is Tim Tebow’s dream of an NFL comeback finally dead? It appears that the former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback is reading the writing on the wall.
Tim Tebow Attempting One More Comback?
The NFL’s Veteran combine is later this month, and Tebow was supposed to be one of two major names showcasing their skills there (the league’s first openly gay player, Michael Sam, being the other).
Tebow was getting scores of favorable press from the media recently. Stories emerged that the University of Florida grad had been working with Tom Brady’s passing coach, tightening his spiral and improving his accuracy demonstrably.

However, it might all not come to pass.
On Friday Jason McIntyre, founder and editor-in-chief of USA Today’s The Big Lead sports blog, broke the news that Tebow had decided to back out of the combine’s proceedings.
Tim Tebow will NOT be participating in the NFL Veteran combine later this month according to a source very close to Tebow.

If Tebow is truly giving up on ever returning to the NFL, he won't have a lack of options elsewhere. The 27-year-old became a college football analyst for the SEC Network last year, and he provided his first-ever live color commentary in the booth during the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.
