Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has no future at Real Madrid. That has already been established. If the past is any indication, he won't have a future at Manchester United once his loan ends at the end of the season, either.
Real Madrid Admit Signing Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez was a Mistake
Searching for a credible existence, the Daily Star believes Hernandez can find it in London. According to the report, West Ham are the favorites to sign the Mexican international. Sam Allardyce, however, will have to fend off strong competition from rivals Tottenham, Everton and Stoke City.
In Hernandez, either of the four clubs would receive a somewhat-proven goal-scorer, though not lately, and an impeccable drive. Despite featuring for just 209 minutes in La Liga, the 26-year-old remains committed to Real Madrid's cause.
"What this club gives you is an amazing experience and I am trying my best to enjoy it," he said (via Goal). "It is so special and I will continue to give everything I have for this shirt."
On the Madrid fans, he added: "Their support is fundamental. They are demanding and that helps us to be better."
Though West Ham will have to battle three other Premier League sides for his services, it's actually Hernandez the club will have to combat the most. Spending four years at Manchester United and another at Real Madrid, Chicharito's taste for minutes is at a level higher than West Ham's prestige allows.
The Irons were in the running for a top-four finish in England, securing a Champion's League berth, but have since dropped to mid-table.
Even with limited playing time for Manchester United, Hernandez was still able to upgrade to the Santiago Bernabeu. His track record reveals downgrading to the Boleyn Ground is an option he wouldn't consider.
