The fourth season of Basketball Wives L.A. is set to premiere later in 2015, and already a ton of juicy gossip involving the would-be cast is sending fans into a tizzy.

First Evelyn Lozada -- who was a long time superstar of the franchise but bailed two years ago -- confirmed reports that she had been contacted by the show’s producers for a comeback. Lozada is living in Los Angeles (currently dating Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford), and seemed like a surefire fit. Alas, she turned the producers down.

Meanwhile, both Tami Roman and franchise creator Shaunie O’Neal are confirmed to be joining cast as supporting players. Tami has already filmed scenes with Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie, according to Chicago Defender.

Angel Brinks, Patrice Curry and Meghan James are also new cast members for season four. Chicago Defender also reported that Roman would be serving the show in a producing role as well.

One prominent name that’s taking a break from the show is Sunday Carter. She dropped out of the new season, citing problems with the way the show portrayed her in final edits.

"When you deal with reality television, you have to look at it with a grain of salt. You have to understand editing; you have to understand that you're in the moment and don't know what realistically happened," Carter said, via Fashion & Style. "So how they portrayed me on the show I wouldn't say that I'm mad at it because those things did happen and they did occurred however, what I don't like is the part that wasn't shown to make those things occur."
