Note to potential petty criminals: when you’re trying to steal from somebody, maybe check and make sure that they’re not a professional mixed martial artist.

UFC Champion Penning Memoir About Career and Life Lessons

Two thieves tried to ransack Bellator and UFC veteran Ryan Jensen’s car last week, stealing all his possessions therein. Jensen wasn’t about to take the incident lying down. He checked the surveillance footage of the gym & fitness center that he operates to get a look at the perps, and then tracked his credit card purchase to a nearby Walmart.

Jensen confronted the crooks by their car, and one of the two even took off on foot, trying to lose Jensen in the store itself. However, he couldn’t outrun the police, who soon arrived on the scene and took both into custody.

Luckily Jensen got his belongings back, and proved that he is no one to mess with in the process.
No word yet on whether Jensen will return to the Octagon in a professional capacity in 2015. His last fight was in April 2014, where he defeated Mark Stoddard via chokehold.
