Today at 1:10 p.m. ET, the New York Mets and Miami Marlins clash in spring training action live from Jupiter, Fla.

New York sends Matt Harvey to the mound while Miami is set to counter with Henderson Alvarez.

Harvey is expected to throw 35-40 pitches over three innings and is coming off his first outing since August 2013. Harvey threw two perfect innings against the Detroit Tigers last week in his first in-game action since undergoing Tommy John surgery in October 2013.

Harvey missed the entire 2014 season, but he went 9-5 with a 2.27 ERA and 191 strikeouts in 2013.

Alvarez is coming off of a 2014 campaign that saw him go 12-7 with a 2.65 ERA and 111 strikeouts.

Miami made a lot of changes this offseason, adding Dee Gordon, Michael Morse and Martin Prado on the offensive side of things and signing slugger Giancarlo Stanton to a huge extension.

New York was quiet, adding just outfielder Michael Cuddyer and bench player John Mayberry Jr. The heart of New York's lineup will still include second baseman Daniel Murphy, captain David Wright, first baseman Lucas Duda and outfielder Curtis Granderson.

Here is the lineup for the New York Mets today; the Marlins have not made theirs known:

Matt Reynolds, SS
Daniel Murphy, 2B
Travis d'Arnaud, C

Ruben Tejada, 3B
Matt den Dekker, RF
