NFL running back Chris Johnson was shot in a drive-by on Sunday that left him with a bullet wound in the shoulder and left one of his friends dead. Police are still working on gathering all of the details about the shooting, and they are currently in the process of seeing if surveillance tapes of any nearby business might have caught the event on video.

One place where they apparently are not getting any help is from Johnson himself. According to Pro 32, the report released by the Orange County Sheriff's Office on Monday indicates that Johnson was uncooperative after the attack.

The report also suggested that Johnson and his friends may have been at a nightclub the night before the shooting, although nobody has confirmed this detail yet.

Johnson was released from the hospital on Sunday, and his team has reported that he is doing well following the shooting and that he looks forward to getting back to training as soon as he can.

"He thanks everyone for their support surrounding this unfortunate incident as well as their condolences regarding the passing of his good friend," said a statement tweeted by EAG Sports Management.

Investigators do not believe that Johnson was the target of the shooting, saying instead that they think that the shooters targeted the vehicle that Johnson and his friends were in without knowing that the NFL player was inside.
