Appearing on a recent episode of boxer’s Adrien Broner’s online reality show, Allen Iverson shockingly talks about wanting to play the deadly game Russian Roulette.
Broner happens upon Iverson during an airing of his About Millions show and to say the disheveled looking Iverson steals the scene would be an understatement. Soon after the two greet one another, Iverson launches into his sad and shocking monologue.
Indeed it’s been a trying last several weeks for the former NBA MVP. Tawanna Iverson, his ex-wife and mother of five children, recently alleged he had kidnapped their children and was refusing to return them to her even though she legally has sole custody of them.
Days after that, she asked an Atlanta judge to have him jailed over allegations he was months behind on child support payments. A judge eventually gave Iverson 72 hours to pay back $71,000 he was in arrears on and admonished him for some of his recent behavior.
Iverson told the judge that he had consumed alcohol “maybe twenty” times recently, including during times with his children, and that he had not taken any therapy sessions or attended any Alcoholic Anonymous meetings and had no plans to do so.
At that point, she ordered officers to take him into custody for a minimum of five days if he did not do so within the next 72 hours.
