The WWE has released a teaser for the forthcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of WWE's Flintstones Stone Age SmackDown, which comes out on Tuesday and it features CM Punk in it.

In the teaser, Punk and Mark Henry voice the characters Punk Rock and Marble Henry, respectively, and they talk to Fred Flintstone about getting revenge on Barney Rubble.

This teaser has no bearing on a possible WWE return for the "Best in the World" as the movie was filmed before Punk left the WWE and he is now a part of UFC.

In other Punk news, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that he will be walking UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis to the cage for his title fight with Rafael dos Anjos next weekend at UFC 185 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Punk and Pettis have trained together at Roufusport in Milwaukee and now the two will be seen together during next Saturday's UFC card.

Punk walked out on the WWE in January 2014 and said on his friend Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast that he'd never have a working relationship with them again.

The former WWE Champion told Cabana during the interview that he was frustrated over being "stifled creatively" by the WWE when he was there and he also said the company wanted him to work hurt on many occasions.

Punk also took aim at WWE doctor Chris Amann for misdiagnosing a growth on his back and he claimed that the doctor brushed off a concussion Punk thought he had.

Amann has taken swift action and sued Punk and Cabana for defamation while the WWE released a statement in support of the suit.

Vince McMahon said on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's live WWE Network podcast in December that he had hoped Punk and the WWE could work together again someday and apologized for Punk receiving his official termination papers from the WWE in June on the day of his wedding with current WWE Diva AJ Lee.

Punk announced later that month at UFC 181 that he signed with the company and his first fight is expected for later this year.

While the "Best in the World" likely won't ever return to the WWE, fans of his can catch a glimpse of Punk in the WWE's Flintstones Stone Age SmackDown.
