An interesting new wrinkle has emerged in the prostitution case that led to the end of NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp's tenure at the NFL Network.

The former defensive great was arrested on the night of Super Bowl XLIX, after allegedly soliciting two women for various sex acts.

However, TMZ Sports is now reporting that one of the women allegedly involved in the tawdry incident is now pleading Not Guilty to the count of misdemeanor prostitution.

According to statements he made to the Phoenix police department, Sapp paid Britney Osbourne and Quying Boyd $300 apiece to visit his hotel and get a little naughty.

Osbourne reportedly performed oral sex on Sapp. However, a dispute over money ensued, leading to the altercation that ended with all of them in handcuffs.

Warren Sapp Dropped From Another Endorsement Deal

Boyd meanwhile has also pled not guilty. However, she is only charged with "not having proper escort identification.

If found guilty, Boyd will receive a fine for an undisclosed amount, while Osbourne could be looking at serving some time. Sapp himself is looking at six months for assault and solicitation.

Since his arrest, Sapp was fired from his position as an analyst for the NFL Network, and had multiple major endorsements drop him from their brands.
