Pakistan continues to scrap and climb its way out of the basement of Group B in the hopes of amassing enough points to enter this year's knockout stage.

The Stars floundered at the start of the Cup, losing matches to India and the West Indies. However, since then they've rattled off wins against Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates. Now they face the Proteas of South Africa in Auckland -- no doubt their toughest test yet.

South Africa already has six points. Just one more win, be it here or next week against the UAE, would surely clinch an advancement into the next round.
