Many pitchers are selective about their gameday habits, whether they only eat certain pregame meals or have to start their warmup routines at a specific time or whatever. For most pitchers, those oddities go out the window when the game starts.

For some pitchers, however, their unique aspects do not show up until they take the mound. Some pitchers hold the ball in crazy ways or have unusual rituals between pitchers. And then there is the classic, ridiculous windup.

Hideo Nomo had a famously weird windup, contorting his body until he was facing second base before unfurling to deliver his pitch. A young pitcher at Murray State may have him beat though. His name is John Lollar, and... well, take a look:

Some famous pitchers have been known for their leg kicks over the years, including Orlando Hernandez, Bronson Arroyo, and Dontrelle Willis. But none of them had anything like this going on.

Lollar may want to try a more conventional leg kick going forward. On the season, he is 0-1 in five starts with a 5.75 ERA, and he has only lasted beyond the third inning of a game once.
