Today at 1:05 p.m. ET, the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates continue their spring training slates with exhibition action.

New York enters the 2015 season on the heels of a campaign where it went 84-78 and finished in second place in the American East while missing the playoffs for the second straight year.

Pittsburgh, meanwhile, finished 88-74 and in second place in the NL Central for the second consecutive season while also notching its second straight trip to the postseason.

The Pirates lost the NL Wild-Card Game to the eventual World Series champion San Francisco Giants by an 8-0 margin.

The Yankees send Esmil Rogers to the mound and he is coming off of a 2014 campaign where he went 2-0 with a 5.72 ERA in 34 games (one start) between New York and the Toronto Blue Jays while adding 44 strikeouts.

The Pirates counter with Francisco Liriano, who is coming off of a campaign where he went 7-10 with a 3.38 ERA in 29 games while adding 175 strikeouts.
