Watch Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial Day 21 Online FREE: Will Miami Shooting Be Allowed In Odin Lloyd Case?

Aaron Hernandez, the ex-New England Patriots star tight end who stands accused of orchestrating the murder of Odin Lloyd, and pulling the trigger in his shooting death, will be back in court again today at 9:00 a.m. Follow Day 21 of the court proceedings free here.

Hernandez’s defense team has characterized the defendant and Lloyd as friends, and openly questioned why Hernandez would commit such a heinous crime against a friend with no clear motive. As a counter, the prosecution asked Judge Susan E. Garsh to be allowed to introduce a separate incident, in which Hernandez is accused of shooting a man named Alexander Bradley in the face from close range following a dispute over a bar tab at a strip club.

According to Bradley, they argued over the bill but still left the bar together. Then, he asked to return to the strip club because he’d left his phone. Hernandez said no, and Bradley made “disrespectful” comments. That’s when Bradley says Hernandez took out a gun, shot him between the eyes, and dumped him.

“The defendant is by no means someone who would necessarily refrain from resorting to extreme violence, including homicidal violence, merely because the victim was a friend,” prosecutor William McCauley wrote.

Hernandez’s judges have successfully fought off McCauley’s attempt. "No doors have been opened. Nothing has changed," defense attorney James Sultan wrote, noting that Bradley’s allegations have never been proven and Hernandez wasn’t charged.

Even further, Sultan accused the prosecution of leaking information to the media to influence the proceedings, and even speaking to media members despite a court gag order. "We don't speak with the media, your honor," Sultan said.
"We don't speak with them on the record. We don't speak with them off the record."
