We’re a little more than a week away from Selection Sunday, which means the best time of the sports calendar year is fast approaching: March Madness.

John Calipari’s Daughter Talking Trash on Twitter

So far John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats have run the table in the regular season, and look poised to cut down the nets in Indianapolis. However, a lot can happen in the six games it takes to win it all.

Here are eight of the most memorable Final Four games since the tournament expanded to 64+ teams in 1985.

2014: Kentucky (74) vs. Wisconsin (73)
Aaron Harrison’s go-ahead three sent the Wildcats to the title game. It was Harrison’s third straight game-winning shot in a row.

2012: Kansas (64) vs Ohio State (62)
Bill Self’s Jayhawks held Buckeyes star Jared Sullinger in check and rode Thomas Robinson to 18 points in this two-point win between number two seeds.

2010: Butler (52) vs. Michigan State (50)
An ugly, brutal game, but a no doubt exciting one. The Bulldogs upset the Spartans by controlling the offensive boards 11-8, and holding MSU to zero (0!) fast break points.

2004: Connecticut (79) vs. Duke (78),
Georgia Tech (67) vs. Oklahoma State (65)
Two games decided by a mere 3 points. UConn came back from a late-game eight point deficit in the first; Georgia Tech’s Will Bynum scored a game-winning layup in the final possession of the second.

2003: Syracuse (95) vs. Texas (84)
Freshman phenom Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points en route to winning Orange head coach Jim Boeheim his first and only national championship.

1998: Kentucky (86) vs. Stanford (85)
Kentucky escaped a third-seeded Stanford team in overtime, to make their third straight national title game.

1991: Duke (79) vs. UNLV (77)
One of the biggest upsets in college basketball history. UNLV had crushed the Blue Devils in the national championship game the year before, and were riding a 45-game winning streak into this showdown.
