Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes is taking umbrage with what he perceives to be a double standard in how discipline is handed down by the NBA.
LA Clippers: Chris Paul Criticizes Rookie Female Referee
It all started with the Houston Rocket's overtime win versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday evening. Barnes was presumably watching the match-up, like millions of other Americans, when Rockets star James Harden intentionally kicked LeBron James right in the groin.
Harden got off relatively easy for the transgression (he wasn't even ejected), which made Barnes furious. Barnes has a history of sparring with fellow players, refs, and the league office over the course of his 11-year career.
“BY THE WAY I GET FINNED 25k 4 KICKING A GATORADE CUP… LET ME KICK LEBON & THE @NBA WOULD TRY & PUT ME IN JAIL,” he tweeted.

Barnes reiterated his stance a day later, telling the Los Angeles Times that he "might have been making my one phone call to you guys right now," had it been him instead of Harden kicking LeBron's gonads.
Harden, for what it's worth, was ultimately suspended one game for that act.
