Pakistan's back was up against the wall, and they responded.

The team entered the 2015 World Cup as one of the supposed contenders to take the whole tournament, but two weeks into the proceedings they were still looking for their first points. They finally captured two of them over this past weekend, with a statement win over Zimbabwe.

Now they'll look to build on that momentum against the UAE, themselves the last team in the tourney without any points. The Stars cannot afford to slip up here -- their outside hopes of a knockout round berth depend on it.
